Jane Bourette of Dennis Recognized as 2011 Woman of the Year at American Business Women’s Association Meeting

May 24, 2011, Hyannis, MA- During its May Business Meeting, the Cape Cod Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) recognized Jane Bourette of Dennis as its 2011 Woman of the Year.

The American Business Woman’s Association provides the Woman of the Year (WoTY) opportunity to provide recognition for an outstanding chapter member who has made notable contributions and outstanding achievements. It is a great honor and one that is highly respected by ABWA Members nationwide. WoTY committee Chair, Susan Fernald, said: “Jane was honored, because she was a standout in each of the six criteria, including community involvement. She also exemplifies our ABWA Code of Conduct and, as President this past year, has led the group with enthusiasm and positivity.”

Woman of the Year Award Recipient Jane Bourette is also the current ABWA President. She took the helm in August of 2010.

Jane Bourette is Vice President of Drake, Saunders & Diwinsky, Ltd, a retirement financial planning company based in Chatham. She is an accomplished, professional business woman with over 30 years in sales, marketing and customer service. Jane is especially focused on the growing needs of baby boomer women through ongoing workshops and her volunteer work at We Can Corporation helping women in transition.
